The title of the film comes from a Spanish proverb, "Cría cuervos y te sacarán los ojos" ( "Raise ravens, and they'll take out your eyes"). Or we could say: is imagination a poison or a mere bicarbonate of soda? From the point of view of a child all losses, mostly parents, are felt with a sentiment of guilty and are the beginning of a dark labyrinth of poisoned emotions. Loss is always the first step of an immense voyage into and intro ourselves.
