O mais belo filme jamais feito sobre a música de Bach só podia vir das mãos do imenso casal Straub-Huillet. Neste filme, onde Bach é protagonizado por não menos que Gustav Leonhardt e Magdalena Bach por Christiane Lang, toda a música é interpretada pelo Concentus Musicus sob a direcção de Nikolaus Harnoncourt. Um esplendor musical e cinematográfico!
Deixo um poema de um grande escritor sueco, desaparecido em 2016, de que gosto muito, com algumas das suas obras traduzidas em Português. Relembro o belo "A morte de um Apicultor", um livro liricamente singelo sobre a dor, esse centro onde a vida se prende, aprende, desaprende e reaprende. Quem não conhece, sugiro que o leia.

but what kind of a world?
A Europe of vast empty spaces, unresounding,
everywhere unawakened instruments
where the Musical Offering, the Well-Tempered Clavier
never passed across the keys.
Isolated churches
where the soprano line of the Passion
never in helpless love twined round
the gentler movements of the flute,
broad soft landscapes
where nothing breaks the stillness
but old woodcutters’ axes
the healthy barking of strong dogs in winter
and, like a bell, skates biting into fresh ice;
the swallows whirring through summer air,
the shell resounding at the child’s ear
and nowhere Bach nowhere Bach
the world in a skater’s stillness before Bach.
